Emmerdale revisits Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle's surrogacy storyline next week.

The popular couple look set to get on the same page at last, as Robert (Ryan Hawley) surprises his husband with a big decision.

Although the pair put the idea on the backburner a few weeks ago, Robert tells Aaron (Danny Miller) that they should attend a surrogacy meeting together.

Aaron is touched and happy over Robert's decision, hoping that they'll finally be able to get the ball rolling.

No other information about what's next has been released at this stage, but it's thought that we'll see the storyline continue over the coming weeks.

Robert and Aaron have previously struggled to agree on the best course of action to take with the surrogacy.

Robert has a long-term plan to pursue things in the US, where prospective parents have more legal rights in a surrogacy agreement, while Aaron has considered cheaper alternatives closer to home.

Tensions came to a head last month when Aaron tried to bribe a potential surrogate mother, who already had an existing agreement with another couple.
