Emmerdale reveals Liv Flaherty's next move as Maya blackmail storyline continues
How far is she going to take it?
Emmerdale's grooming plot took a dramatic turn recently when Liv Flaherty discovered Jacob Gallagher and Maya Stepney's affair and started blackmailing Maya with what she knows.
After she found Maya in Jacob's bedroom, Liv (Isobel Steele) demanded the teacher pay £5,000 in exchange for her silence, but now she's going to take it even further.
With Liv now in possession of damning evidence of Maya's (Louise Clein) disturbing relationship with Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant), upcoming episodes will see a desperate Jacob steal Val Pollard's ring and agonise over whether he should pawn it to pay the £5,000.
However, when Maya eventually turns up with Liv's money, the teen decides that she wants more and demands £10,000 instead, threatening to leak her recording and make it go viral if Maya doesn't pay up.
The whole situation later seems to catch up with Liv, though, when she meets up with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and cries over what she's done as she's overcome with the pressure.
Emmerdale continues on Monday at 7pm on ITV.
