PC Swirling interviews Harriet about the attack but she’s frustrated when she realises that other villages believe that Dawn is somehow involved in terrorising her. Bear Wolf is ready to leave for Northern Ireland but he and Paddy have unresolved issues. Paddy desperately needs to speak to him before he leaves, can he catch him in time. Maya is left worried when she’s called for a meeting by Jessie to discover her performance. Is Jessie on to her?

Rhona reluctantly agrees to help Kim Tate with her horses with a sense of duty compelling her to assist. As she goes about her job she’s suddenly hit with a crippling pain and is left in a heap on the floor with one one around to help. Harriet’s stalker isn’t done with her yet. After the terror of finding someone had been in her cottage, she’s set for more horror when she heads to the church and finds the pulpit has been covered in red paint. Who’s after her? Maya nervously meets with Jessie and spins her yarns that she’s suffering from low self-esteem following her divorce. Jai catches Manpreet behaving oddly over her laptop and wonders what she’s hiding.

Rhona’s pain is getting worse and with Kim having left her to it there’s no one to get her the medical help she needs. Alone, she feels scared and helpless. Will anyone find her? Jai is upset by Rishi’s speech and in a moment of anger he blurts out that he found something untoward on Manpreet’s computer. How will Rishi react? Dawn confesses all about her past to Jai and about her little boy. He’s sensitive to her troubles and she’s left delighted when he gives her a second chance at the factory.

Maya’s troubles are far from over as although she’s made Jessie believe her, she now has Jacob to worry about. It’s all become too much for the teenager who tells her he can’t keep lying to Liv and his dad. She desperately tries to deter him from coming clean, but he has a response for her that leaves her stunned – he ends their relationship. After Gabby makes Liv worried she might be losing Jacob, Liv tells her she’s decided to sleep with him.

Jacob’s thrilled when Maya tries hard to win him back. She has an answer for him about wanting to come clean, what will she suggest they do? Tracy feels awkward when she realises she’s been set up on a date with Billy.

Liv puts her plan into action to get closer to Jacob. Will Liv do something she regrets after deciding to sleep with Jacob? Bob and Dan are pleased as punch with their thrush – it’s surely an award-winning photograph. The two are convinced the photos will bring them fame and fortune. Or are they just kidding themselves?

Billy has been working hard to reform himself since leaving prison. He’s been working hard on getting himself a new job and trying to prove he’s changed, with the odd small slip up on the way. But he could be facing his fears when Max approaches him outside the factory. What does he want and could it get Billy in serious trouble?

Harriet becomes increasingly terrified by the sinister prank calls she is receiving. When Bob hears Dawn on the phone in the Woolpack corridor, he starts to think she may be behind it.

Bob later heads to Woodbine to share his theory with Harriet and a furious Dawn, who says she's moving out.

Meanwhile, Jacob is driven to desperate measures.

Elsewhere, Robert offers encouragement to Aaron.

Faith's lies could ruin Aaron's chances

Will her efforts to help go awry?

Aaron is stressed ahead of the meeting with potential surrogate Natalie, as Robert is stuck on the road.

Faith promises to keep Natalie entertained in the pub to delay her, but soon she and Bear get carried away spinning lies to make the boys seem an attractive proposition to Natalie. Could this backfire?

Meanwhile, Harriet is out in the village. When she hears the church bells ringing, she goes in to investigate but the heavy door slams behind her. Harriet is locked in and frightened to death. What will happen next and who has locked her in?

Matty struggles to hide his nerves as he waits to have his operation. After he has gone in, Moira lashes out at Victoria. Upset, she confesses that her distress for Matty stems from Holly's death and Victoria comforts her.

As they wait, Moira fears the worst when she sees a nurse running towards Matty's operating theatre.

Meanwhile, Priya vents her frustrations.

With The British Soap Awards 2019 getting closer, public voting has opened today (April 9), giving fans the chance to have their say on who scoops a prize.


Bosses at the annual ceremony have officially announced this year's longlist nominations for Best Actor and Best Actress, which have 15 familiar soap faces in the running.

This first round stage of voting will close at 5pm on Tuesday, April 23. Second round voting – when the shortlists are revealed – will open at 10am on Tuesday, April 30 and close at 9pm on Friday, May 24.


During the second stage of voting, the Best Actor and Best Actress categories will be whittled down to five choices each. The Best Soap category remains at five choices for both stages of the voting.


The awards' other categories – including the likes of Best Storyline, Best Newcomer and Best Young Performance – will be determined by a panel of judges.


The British Soap Awards will air in June on ITV.
